Tombstone Tuesday -- Rev. Albert M. Hork

    Albert M. Hork was born 10 Aug 1853 in Oberhundem, Westfalen [Germany] and died 26 May 1912 in Beaverton, Washington Co, Oregon.  He is buried at the St. Mary of the Valley Cemetery, Convent cemetery of Sisters of St. Mary's.  
   As you can see from the photo, the birth date is incorrect.  This is not the original tombstone.  The cemetery was moved to its current location several decades ago when the convent began leasing the land for commercial use.
   Albert is the brother of my great-grandfather, Johan Anton Hork.  Albert served in many parishes in Nebraska and Missouri.
