My Trails into the Past

My outside activities included visits to research repositories in Louisville, Shelbyville, and Frankfort, as well as visits to attractions and distilleries in Kentucky.   Genealogy Genealogy Volunteer/Work: I have started drafting the upcoming BCG-sponsored webinar press release for June and will send it out this coming week.   Genealogy Meetings:    Meetings this week: None. Genealogy Writing/Research : This week's research involved researching at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, the library in Shelbyville, and the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives in Frankfort. I spent three hours at the Filson looking at books, mostly about bourbon. One was exactly what I wanted, so I bought a used copy instead of wasting time photographing pages.
