Calling all Genea-Musings Fans:
It's Saturday
Night again
Time for some more Genealogy Fun!!
Our assignment from Randy Seaver of Genea-Musings, is to:
1) It is the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence today.
2) How will you celebrate the day? Or, how did you celebrate the day?
Here's mine:
I started out the day, starting at 5:30 am, watching tennis
matches at Wimbledon on ESPN television.
Then I participated in the Martinez 4th of July Parade, holding the banner for the Friends of Alhambra Creek.
When I got home, I watched more tennis and two World Cup matches.
Lastly, I plan to watch the musical, 1776, a tradition I do each year.
We probably will not go to see fireworks, as the city is having an extra event at the park and there will be too many people.

Sounds like a lovely celebration! And I like your tradition of watching 1776, a fitting way to mark this day.
ReplyDeleteParades are lots of fun. I participated in a several when I lived in CA, but there aren't any here in Tucson. Love the photo!
